my guess

Nope. Many years get very little activity until late August/early September. So I think it's very unwise to assume a hurricane-free year at this point. I grew up in TX, moved to IN in 1998, lived in Pinellas Co., FL from Oct 2002-Sep 2004. Guess why I'm back in IN now... Much of it is due to Charley/Frances/Ivan/Jeanne.

i don't know, but we can always hope. s/o is From Cedar Key and only moved uphere a few years ago. We're hoping to avoid the weather this year, but living in Va, anything that takes an Atlantic path puts the odds agenst us.

In 2004, (the year of Charley, Frances, Ivan and Jeanne) Charley didn't come until August 13th. I know it's already a little letaer than that, but not too much later.

TD4 is out there right now. Maybe there's hope yet??
